ARE THE ONLINE COURSES FREE?

Yes. The courses are free of charge and open to all law enforcement across the state of Tennessee.


Have your agency training coordinator email us at tbi.learn@tbi.tn.gov to request access to the Acadis training portal. Tell us how many people need access to our course catalog and what the agency email domain is, if there is one (ex: @tn.gov).

HOW DO I SET UP AN AGENCY PROFILE?


HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A COURSE?

If your agency already has a profile, ask your training manager for the unique registration link or email us at tbi.learn@tn.gov for a copy. You will click the registration link and follow the instructions. Once you create your learner account, you will have access to all of our courses. Browse through our catalog, find the course you want to take, click View Course, and then click Enroll to begin.

If your agency does not have a profile, have your training manager to email us at tbi.learn@tn.gov and let us know how many people need access and what the agency email domain is (ex: @tn.gov).


WHAT IS MY USERNAME?

Your username is typically your work email address. Agency profiles are set up to only accept your agency email domain. Do not register with a personal email address. If your agency does not provide you with an email address, have your training manager contact us. You can also set up an leo.gov email address at www.cjis.gov.  


WHAT IF MY EMAIL ADDRESS HAS CHANGED?

Do not create a second account. Please email us at tbi.learn@tbi.tn.gov and and we will update your user profile.

WHAT IF I HAVE MOVED TO A DIFFERENT AGENCY?


Enter your username to sign in and then click the reset password link. You will receive an email with instructions on how to proceed.

I FORGOT MY PASSWORD. HOW DO I RESET IT?


WILL I RECEIVE POST CREDIT FOR THIS COURSE?

You will earn POST credit for the courses in our POST-approved catalog. The course description will say how many hours it has been approved for. When you complete a course, you will earn a notification that you earned a badge. Click on the badge and click PDF to download a certificate of completion. You are responsible for submitting the paperwork to POST. If you do not know the POST number for the course, you can find it here.


MY SCREEN IS FROZEN OR BLANK. WHAT DO I DO?

We recommend using Google Chrome to view the courses. Try logging out or switching Internet browsers to see if the course will continue. If it does not, please take a screenshot of your issue and email it to tbi.learn@tbi.tn.gov.


The information for the certificate is pulled from the information you enter when you register as a user. If your name has been misspelled, please email us at tbi.learn@tbi.tn.gov and we will update your account for you.

WHY IS MY NAME SPELLED WRONG ON MY CERTIFICATE?
